At the left bank of Nile, en face of the modern Luxor, after the famous «Colossus of Memnon", in Kom el-Hettan, there was the largest temple of the Ancient Egypt – mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.
Time of Amenhotep III government became one of the greatest periods of Ancient Egypt blossom. Templar complexes, monumental statues, artwares – all these facts say for the artists skills, so they are the masterpieces of Ancient Egypt.
In Amenhotep III mortuary temple, in the most luxury, florid with sculptures and templar implements, between columns, Osiris colossus from red granite, dressed into breechcloths, with legs moved together, arms crossed on the breast, clenching a scepter in the right hand, and a lash in the left hand, were standing.
